I kid you not the vocals, rhythms, and keys coming from this band has me mesmerized. I always carry a soft spot for my vocalist ladies especially if they tend to lean toward that sultry raspy kind of vocal. That could have a lot to do with my Elastic Bond musical affair.
Two weeks ago I did a second round to “fill her up” with some more E.B. this time at Circa 28. Let me not forget to mention the fact we had DHM (Deep House Movement) playing downstairs that night as well. A finely tuned night I knew was about to be had. The audience was treated to an exposition of live painting compliments of Eva Ruiz a Colombian artist right next to the stage.
People were shakin’ those caderas from start to finish basking in the sent of art. The delicious show was closed off with City Girl; Sofy took off those fierce high heels she sported all night and walked out into the audience carrying that trip hop tune like nobody’s business while the rest of the band members played that beat on point. The highlight of my night came when Sofy dedicated Feelin’ Good to me. I guess that would officially make me a fan? When the band calls your name out on stage you are definitely a fan or it could means you need to simmer down before you get kicked out.
What can I say when I hear good music I have to scream it out and let everyone know and always make sure to show love & appreciation to those that move me. Either way it was an amazing plethora of art. Enjoy the pictures.
Keep an eye out for this band I’m warning you now. Check out their myspace page for gig dates. Loews Sept 26th 2008 check it and every 1st FRIDAY of the month at Circa 28 in MIAMI.
